Volunteer Our United Way is powered by volunteers! We couldn't do everything we do, without the hundreds of volunteers who volunteer thousands of hours to make our progams work! Complete a Volunteer Application to get started! Volunteer opportunities are abundant! One of the programs we need volunteers most is our VITA Program. We use volunteers in roles from Greeter or general help in the ofice, to preparing tax returns and reviewing tax returns. we provide the training for tax law and return prepartion FREE. Other opportunities include office, fundraisers, events, committees, building, and we also connect volunteers to other volunteer opportunities out in the community, like the food pantry, homeless shelter, senior center and others.
