“Methamphetamine – What Everyone Needs to Know.”
The lecture will be conducted by K9 Officer Brian Taylor and Officer Matt Staples both of the North Vernon Police Department. These officers have extensive knowledge of methamphetamine production, usage, and related hazards. The officers were recently certified as Level A HAZMAT technicians with special emphasis on methamphetamine production and byproducts. The officers will cover areas such as: What is Meth? What is a Meth Lab?, What is at a dump site?, What are the health hazards of Meth? Time will be reserved for a question and answer session at the end of the lecture. Some materials are inappropriate for children. The lunch and learn is open to anyone that has in interest in this topic. Seating is limited.
